It lives in the pad

Pet Stain and Odor Removal from Carpet

The smell lives in the pad and the subfloor, not the carpet. That is why store-bought cleaners never end it.

Cleaning the Surface Leaves the Source in Place

A pet accident soaks straight through the carpet into the pad, and in bad cases into the subfloor underneath. Cleaning the surface takes the stain out of sight and leaves the source where it is, which is why the odor comes back on the first warm humid day.

We treat the whole layer: enzyme treatment on the affected area, sub-surface extraction to pull saturated liquid out of the pad, and in heavy cases lifting the carpet to replace the section of pad and seal the subfloor before laying it back down.

How we assess it

We Find the Full Extent First

Including the spots that are invisible from above. Then we show you what we found and give you two prices: treat it, or replace the affected pad. You choose.

  • Most spots can be saved

Single accidents and most repeat spots in one area come out and stay out.

  • Some cannot, and we say so

Where an animal used the same corner for months the backing itself has broken down. We will say so plainly rather than sell a treatment that will not hold.

  • A patch beats recarpeting

If a section has to come out, we patch it with carpet from a closet and reinstall, which costs far less than recarpeting the room.

Pet Stain and Odor FAQ

Will the smell come back?

Not if the source is removed. It comes back when only the surface was cleaned and the pad was left saturated.

Do you do more than clean carpet?

Yes, and that is the difference. We clean, repair, stretch and install carpet, so when the problem turns out to be a ripple or a split seam you are not sent to another company.

Do you use anything harmful to pets or kids?

The enzyme treatments we use are safe once the area is dry. Keep pets off until then.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No. Call or text (720) 630-9983, or send a photo, and we will tell you what the carpet needs and what it will cost before anyone comes out.

Can you get out old stains from a previous owner?

Often yes, and this is one of the most common calls we get after a home purchase. Age works against the stain color, but the odor treatment works the same either way.

Which areas do you cover?

Arvada, Westminster, Broomfield, Northglenn, Thornton, Wheat Ridge and the surrounding north Denver metro. We are based at 8753 Yates Dr in Westminster.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on how many areas are affected and whether the pad has to come out. We quote after the walkthrough, before starting.

Can my carpet be saved, or do I need a new one?

Usually it can. A stretch fixes ripples, a patch fixes a burn or pet damage, and a deep clean brings back more color than people expect. We will tell you plainly when replacement really is the better call.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. We serve customers in English and Spanish.

What are your hours?

Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturdays are our busiest day for move-outs.
