A two-hour job
Carpet Stretching for Ripples and Buckling
Waves in the carpet are not a sign it is worn out. They are a sign it needs to be stretched.
Ripples Do Not Mean the Carpet Is Finished
Carpet ripples because it was installed without a power stretcher, because humidity and foot traffic worked it loose over the years, or because it was pulled up for a repair and never properly re-tensioned. None of that means the carpet is finished.
Stretching pulls the carpet taut again across the room, re-seats it on the tack strip and trims the excess. The waves disappear and the carpet lies flat. It costs a small fraction of new carpet and it takes a couple of hours.

What we look at first
Creases That Have Been There for Years
If the carpet has been loose for a long time the ripples may have creased permanently, and after stretching a faint line can remain for a few weeks until the fibers recover. We will tell you at the walkthrough whether that is likely in your case.
Carpet Stretching FAQ
How long does stretching take?
A typical room takes one to two hours. A whole floor takes half a day.
Do you do more than clean carpet?
Yes, and that is the difference. We clean, repair, stretch and install carpet, so when the problem turns out to be a ripple or a split seam you are not sent to another company.
Do I need to move the furniture?
No. We move it and set it back.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Call or text (720) 630-9983, or send a photo, and we will tell you what the carpet needs and what it will cost before anyone comes out.
Will the ripples come back?
Not if it is stretched with a power stretcher and the tack strip is sound. If the tack strip has failed, we replace it while we are there.
Which areas do you cover?
Arvada, Westminster, Broomfield, Northglenn, Thornton, Wheat Ridge and the surrounding north Denver metro. We are based at 8753 Yates Dr in Westminster.
Can you stretch carpet on stairs?
Yes. Stairs are a common request and one that many companies turn down.
Can my carpet be saved, or do I need a new one?
Usually it can. A stretch fixes ripples, a patch fixes a burn or pet damage, and a deep clean brings back more color than people expect. We will tell you plainly when replacement really is the better call.
Is stretching worth it on old carpet?
If the fiber still has life and the backing is intact, yes. We will tell you if it is not.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. We serve customers in English and Spanish.
What are your hours?
Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturdays are our busiest day for move-outs.
